Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of SecondTry. By creating or protecting an account, purchasing a subscription, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

SecondTry lets users capture question images, create and edit structured mistake cards, synchronize protected accounts, and generate printable practice sheets. Features may change as the product improves.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for protecting your login method, and for activity under your account. Do not share credentials or attempt to access another account. Google and Apple authentication remain subject to the relevant provider terms.

3. Your content

You retain rights in content you upload. You grant SecondTry a limited permission to host, process, reproduce and transform that content only as needed to provide requested features, including AI card creation, synchronization and PDF generation. You must have the right to upload the content and must not upload unlawful, infringing or unnecessarily sensitive material.

5. Free and Pro usage

• A newly created account receives 10 AI card captures.
• The monthly Pro product grants 300 AI card captures for each verified monthly billing period.
• The annual Pro product grants 3,600 AI card captures for each verified annual billing period.
• New AI jobs are limited to 30 per account per UTC day, including when a larger unused balance remains.
• Quota has no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and may be withheld for refunded, reversed, fraudulent or unverified purchases.

6. Google Play subscriptions

Prices, currency, taxes, billing confirmation and renewal terms are displayed by Google Play before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through Google Play. You can manage renewal from SecondTry’s subscription screen or the Google Play subscription center. Cancellation normally leaves access active until the store-reported end of the paid period.

Payments and refund eligibility are governed by Google Play and applicable law. Restoring a purchase requires signing in to the SecondTry account associated with that purchase. Deleting a SecondTry account is separate from store transaction history; the service attempts to cancel an active Google renewal before deleting account data, but you should verify the final status in Google Play.

7. Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the service, bypass quotas or rate limits, automate abusive requests, reverse engineer protected interfaces, upload malware, violate another person’s rights, or use SecondTry to facilitate illegal activity. We may restrict requests or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep SecondTry available, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, provider failures, network conditions or security events may interrupt features. We may change or discontinue a feature, but changes do not override rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

9. Privacy, export and deletion

The Privacy Policy explains data handling. You may export or delete a protected account through the product. The external deletion path is available at /account-deletion/.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SecondTry is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free AI output or fitness for a particular learning result. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach.

11. Changes, termination and disputes

You may stop using SecondTry or delete your account at any time. We may terminate access for serious or repeated violations, subject to applicable law. We will post an updated version and effective date when these Terms materially change. These Terms are governed by laws applicable to the provider’s domicile, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their place of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute.
